Engineered for strength and built for speed, Aussie Corro delivers longer spans and a faster build — without compromising on protection.

  • Longer panel spans thanks to a higher rib height, for increased strength and fewer support posts
  • Wide 1000mm panels mean faster installation with fewer, less visible joins
  • 3-in-1 finished product: roof, insulation, ceiling

Frequently Asked Questions

CORRUGATED PROFILE 01
Corro Profile

Aussie Corro is manufactured to strict industrial standards using high-grade components. Each panel provides an effective coverage width of 1000mm (1 metre) when joined together on-site and is cut to your exact custom lengths (minimum length 1.8m).

The exterior top skin consists of a heavy-duty 0.42mm thickness steel sheet rolled into a structural corrugated profile (AZ150 G550), while the interior ceiling underside is a rigid 0.60mm thickness flat, smooth steel skin (AZ150 G300). The layers are continuously bonded to a fire-retardant insulation core using a thermosetting, CFC-free two-part polyurethane adhesive. The final exterior layer features an architectural 25% gloss paint coat compliant with AS/NZS 2728 and AS 1397 standards.

Aussie Corro – Screw Chart

To comply with verified engineering certification guidelines, Aussie Corro panels must be fixed using a minimum of 7 structural fasteners per panel, per supporting beam. All primary fasteners must be high-quality Class 4 Climaseal coated and fitted with an approved cyclonic sealing washer. Select your fastener lengths based on your framing material and panel thickness:

  • 50mm Panels: Use Tek 14×125 screws for metal framing, or Type 17 14×125 screws for timber framing.
  • 75mm Panels: Use Tek 14×150 screws for metal framing, or Type 17 14×150 screws for timber framing.
  • 100mm Panels: Use Tek 14×150 screws for metal framing, or Type 17 14×200 screws for timber framing.
  • 125mm Panels: Use Tek 14×175 screws for metal framing, or Type 17 14×200 screws for timber framing.
  • 150mm Panels: Use Tek 14×200 screws for metal framing, or Type 17 14×250 screws for timber framing.
  • 175mm Panels: Use Tek 14×250 screws for metal framing, or Type 17 14×250 screws for timber framing.
  • 200mm Panels: Use Tek 14×275 screws for metal framing, or Type 17 14×275 screws for timber framing.
  • Overlaps: Secure side laps and overlaps at maximum 900mm centres using Tek 12×20 stitching screws to ensure a weather-tight seal.

The total weight of your Aussie Corro roof panels depends directly on your selected core insulation thickness parameters:

50mm Core Insulation: Statically weighs 10.58 kg/m²

75mm Core Insulation: Statically weighs 10.94 kg/m²

100mm Core Insulation: Statically weighs 11.37 kg/m²

125mm Core Insulation: Statically weighs 11.80 kg/m²

150mm Core Insulation: Statically weighs 12.23 kg/m²

(Weight metrics for 175mm and 200mm configurations can be provided by our team based on your specific custom layout requirements).

Aussie Corro panels provide outstanding thermal efficiency and noise reduction, helping home extensions, carports, and patios stay comfortable year-round. Thermal resistance performance changes slightly based on ambient temperatures and foam core thickness parameters:

  • 50mm Panels: Delivers an R-Value of 1.61 at 8°C ambient temperature, and 1.59 at 20°C.
  • 75mm Panels: Delivers an R-Value of 2.26 at 8°C ambient temperature, and 2.22 at 20°C.
  • 100mm Panels: Delivers an R-Value of 2.66 at 8°C ambient temperature, and 2.59 at 20°C.
  • 125mm Panels: Delivers an R-Value of 3.25 at 8°C ambient temperature, and 3.17 at 20°C.
  • 150mm Panels: Delivers an R-Value of 3.94 at 8°C ambient temperature, and 3.75 at 20°C.
  • 200mm Panels: Delivers an R-Value of 4.85 at 8°C ambient temperature, and 3.75 at 20°C.

The total combined thickness of the finished panel includes the inner insulation foam layer plus the height of the outer protective roof ribs:

  • 50mm Core Panels: Feature a total overall thickness of 66mm.
  • 75mm Core Panels: Feature a total overall thickness of 91mm.
  • 100mm Core Panels: Feature a total overall thickness of 116mm.
  • 125mm Core Panels: Feature a total overall thickness of 141mm.
  • 150mm Core Panels: Feature a total overall thickness of 166mm.
  • 175mm Core Panels: Feature a total overall thickness of 191mm.
  • 200mm Core Panels: Feature a total overall thickness of 216mm.

Aussie Corro can be safely installed at an ultra-low minimum roof pitch of just 5° (which equals a minor 87mm drop per linear metre of run). This makes it an ideal solution for low-profile carports and seamless flyover patio extensions.

Below is a guide for working out the lay for Aussie Corro Roof Panels. Always start from a corner or the prevailing wind side.

Drawings of Roof Lay (cutback) Direction

To streamline construction times on-site, panels are manufactured with a standard 60mm factory pre-cut rebate on the Right-Hand (RH) gutter profile end to accept your fascia receiving channel. Custom RH installation rebates of 80mm, 100mm, and 120mm can be cut during production on request. Left-Hand (LH) rebates are available at a fixed 60mm width; please note that the steel ceiling skin is removed during this process, and the installer will simply clear the remaining foam core during assembly.

Aussie Corro is fully accredited, BCA compliant, and CodeMark™ Certified (Certificate Number: CM40104). The insulation center is rolled from high-quality SL Grade fire-retardant expanded polystyrene (EPS-FR). Tested under rigorous AS/NZS 1530.3 criteria, the systems are fully certified for use in high-risk BAL-40 Bushfire Attack Level zones. To satisfy local certification requirements, remember to specify our matching BAL-40 edge flashings to fully cover the exposed core ends during your quote request.

Our entire inventory is specifically engineered to maximize open outdoor spans with fewer support columns. Structural strength thresholds are calculated using a deflection limit of span 1/150 in strict accordance with Serviceability Limit State criteria per AS1170.0 (TABLE C1). The calculations safely allow for a uniform dead load up to 25 kg/m² to accept light and fan fittings, a distributed live load capacity of 0.25kPa, and a concentrated non-trafficable maintenance load up to 140kg (exceeding min. requirements of AS/NZS 1170.1:2001).

Store panel packs under cover — ideally indoors — away from direct sunlight, rain and wind. Packs should sit on a flat surface (such as a concrete slab) and be raised off the ground on suitable supports, such as foam blocks or timber bearers. Do not stack other materials on top of the pack.
The protective plastic film must be removed within 4 weeks of delivery or pickup. Prolonged exposure can bond the film to the paint, causing the paint to peel on removal.
Incorrect or long-term storage may damage the protective film or cause panel deterioration, and will void your warranty.

Important Project Notes: Aussie Panels provides material take-off estimations and quantity assessments as a commercial project guide only; the executing contractor, building site installer, or independent certifier must manually verify the final Bill of Materials (BOM) for accuracy prior to purchase. It remains the absolute legal responsibility of the project installer to ensure that any existing structure or foundation to which these panels are fixed has sufficient load-bearing capabilities. We recommend displaying standard caution and safety signage across finished installations.
