Stay Cool in the Sunshine Coast Heat
The Sunshine Coast lives up to its name in Australia’s subtropical belt, but that sunny branding glosses over the summer swelter when humidity thickens and temperatures climb into the mid-30s, sending locals fleeing from their backyards to the surf.
Aussie Panels insulated roofing makes sense whether you’re planning a patio, carport, shade area or pergola.
A normal steel roof radiates heat and often renders your outdoor area a no-go zone on hot days.
The thermal properties of insulated panels mean you no longer have to swelter under a hot tin roof.
We deliver across the Sunshine Coast including Caloundra, Mooloolaba, Coolum Beach, Noosa Heads and into the hinterland including Maleny and Mapleton.

Great price, great product. Have used these guys a few times, wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Good service, efficient turn around, got exactly what I ordered and pickup was straight forward and efficient on multiple occasions. Will use Aussie panels again.

Aussie Panels were so efficient that I got my quote & had my roofing delivered before other quotes even came in! And then: their price was better anyway so would have gone with Aussie Panels even if other quotes had come on time 😊

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. Insulated Aussie Panels can be trimmed on site using a sharp, cold cut (metal) blade. NB: Do not use a grinder as it will damage the paint and panel.
All cutting should be done on the ground. Best practice is to place the panel on sawhorses with foam or protective padding taped to the top of the trestles.
Cut the panel roof side up. Use tape on the cut line to minimise panel damage.
Use a file to gently remove any burrs. Always remove swarf from the panel.
All cut edges should be treated with cold-gal.
Most people will already have the equipment they need.
A circular saw with a metal blade cuts the panels. Tradies might use a nibbler or a panel saw.
Some of the other equipment includes saw horses, turn-up/turn-down tool (or vice grips work), Stanley knife, tin snips, drill & bit for tek screws, rivet gun, tape measure, marking pen, spirit level, string line.
Don’t forget your safety gear including eye protection, helmet, gloves and footwear.
Insulated panels are heavy — a two-person lift is required at all times. When removing a panel from the stack, grip it from the underside and lift straight up, keeping it vertical.
Never lift a panel by its top sheet, and never twist it during the lift, as this can damage the panel beneath.
Use mechanical lifting equipment, such as a scissor lift, wherever possible.
Do not install panels in high winds or any other unsafe conditions.
